Since 2013, ESSİAD has been implementing the School-to-Profession Project with the aim of meeting the sector’s need for a qualified workforce and supporting the employment of young graduates in the industry. Within the scope of the project, cooperation is established with vocational and technical high schools, vocational schools, and relevant departments of universities in the region to strengthen students’ educational processes, enable them to become more closely acquainted with the sector, and guide them toward employment after graduation.

In line with this objective, technical trainings, factory visits, career days, and information events are organized for students, while sectoral development programs are carried out for teachers. In coordination with ESSİAD member companies, internship and employment opportunities are created, supporting the placement of young people in positions aligned with their qualifications.

Through the School-to-Profession Project, ESSİAD aims to both strengthen the future of the sector and provide professional development and career opportunities for young people.
